We take great pride in our work and aim to carry these standards through to our customers in the commercial sector and believe that our pride and professionalism when coupled with a respect for health and safety at work makes us a reliable choice for your needs (see our services page).
We realise that commercial organisations expect strict adherence to professional and health and safety guidelines, especially in relation to tree work. Our compliance with the following has allowed us to attain Approved Contractor Status with the likes of North Ayrshire Council amongst others:
- Royal Forestry Society Certificate in Arboriculture
- £10 million Employer’s Liability Insurance
- £5 million Public Liability Insurance
- Risks Assessments and Method Statements for each job undertaken
- Experienced, Competent and Qualified Arborists -City and Guilds (NPTC)
- Chapter 8 – Lighting, Signing and Guarding Qualified Staff
- All work carried out to the British Standard (BS3998: 2010 Tree Work Recommendations)
- Climbing and rigging equipment tested to meet Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), 1998.
- Equipment meets the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), 1998.
- Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E) is worn at all times in line with HSE guidelines.
- We keep up to date with all guidelines relating to Tree Work set out by the Arboricultural and Forestry Advisory Group (AFAG) and Health and Safety Executive( HSE). Go to http://www.hse.gov.uk/treework/index.htm for further information.
Please note, all paperwork corresponding to any of the above is available upon request. Requests for Approved Contractor Applications are welcomed.

We also aim to show great respect to our natural environment by minimising the negative impact of our work on nesting birds and bats roosting and adhere to:
- Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981).
- Nature Conservation (Scotland) Act 2004.
